目前 Linode.com 域名还保留着，不清楚未来是否会直接跳转合并到 Akamai。Akamai 是一个老牌比较有实力的 CDN 服务商，收购 Linode 产品来整合提高云服务市场。
Linode 曾经比 VULTR、DigitalOcean 等 VPS 主机商家老牌和优秀，但是后续发展动力不足，据 Akamai 计划，后面陆续会淡化甚至取消 Linode 品牌。而且 Akamai 云服务器和云产品也逐渐上线，会新增几十款数据中心机房。

With the announcement of Akamai Connected Cloud, Linode is now fully integrated into the Akamai brand. Going forward, Linode’s services will be referred to as Akamai’s cloud computing services.
